Sally Hansen's Airbrushed Legs Review

Recently I got to try a VoxBox from Influenster that contained a sample of Sally Hansen's Airbrushed Legs. I must admit I was severely hesitant about trying this. I thought it would be like self tanner and I would have oompa loompa shade skin for a while. I was wrong.

Sally Hansen's Airbrushed legs is mowould be a liquid concealer for your legs. You place a small amount in your hands and rub it evenly over your leg. It is meant to cover imperfections in skin tone for a short period of time.

I received medium shade and it went on well but I could have used a shade lighter. Because of this, I was slightly orange but nothing that the lighter shade wouldn't have corrected.
As you may be able to tell by the picture above, it applied evenly. It did cover most imperfections but it did not cover larger scars such as the one in the center of my leg.

I used that scar as a marker to wash off half of my leg to see how easy it was to wash off and to show the difference between a bare leg and the makeup. I snapped the picturr below. It washed off very easy with a wash cloth and hot water. I was pleasantly surprised by this. As I mentioned, I was scared I would have been an Oompa Loompa for a few days.

All in all, I give this a 4 out of 5 stars. It is a much better product than I expected. It doesn't cover large scars well and a medium shade was too dark for me but it did hide minor scars and color imperfections. It applied easily and washed off easily. It does come in several shades so you could match your skin tone m better. I would say this would be a great option for special occassions like weddings or parties. It definitely is worth giving a try.

Review of Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Blends

I’m a member of the Crowdtap NEUTROGENA® rewards program, and NEUTROGENA® sent me a sample of its NEUTROGENA® Healthy Skin Blends.

Healthy Skin Blends come in 3 amazing shades. Shade 10, also called Clean, is a translucent powder with a formula that controls oily skin and the shine that comes with that. Shade 20, aka Pure, is a blush that creates subtle highlights and a healthy illuminating glow. Shade 30, Sunkissed, is a bronzer that gives you radiant sunkissed appearance. Each contain Vitamin C and botanical conditioners to help create healthy skin.

The sample I got to try was Shade 20. I have many blushes over the span of my makeup wearing life. Let me say, most look extremely unrealistic. You end up with odd colored cheeks or you can't tell you even put any on at all. Healthy Skin Blends actually lets you combine a color that matches your skin tone for the perfect look.

Each shade actually comes with actually 4 shades in one compact. You blend the colors together that you want to make your perfect shade. This takes the guess work out of which blush to buy at the stores and puts the freedom of choosing at home directly in your hands. The customization possibilities are limitless.

After trying Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Blends for a week, I am extremely pleased. I normally don't care for blush this much but now I think I will be going out to get Shade 10 to accompany the blush, as I do have oily skin in certain places. I know I will continue using the Healthy Skin Blends Pure because it is the first blush I have truly loved. It blends so perfectly on unprimed skin and lasts all day. Definitely check it out if you are looking for makeup that is more custome for your needs

COVERGIRL Intensify Me! Eyeliner and Super Sizer Mascara

I just wanted to share a couple products that I got to try free thanks to Influenster and COVERGIRL.

I must admit that I am eyeliner deficient. Normally, I use a wet eyeliner brush and some darker eye shadow to create a light eye liner so the mistakes aren't as noticeable. I recently got to try COVERGIRL'S Intensify Me! Liquid Eyeliner. I was severely intimidated by it at first. With a few practice swoops on my hand I felt confident in trying it. Before long I got the hang of a couple of different looks. It is very waterproof which is a good option. Just remember that you need eye makeup remover or some warm soapy water to remove the eyeliner. #IntensifyMe

The other product that I received was their new Super Sizer Mascara. I am not deficient in mascara but I must admit that the brush design is something new to me. Actually, it is a pleasant surprise. You twirl the brush when applying the mascara. You can feel the brush grab every lash and you know you are getting a full coating. It "supersizes" your lashes by about 400% and compliments the eyeliner greatly. It really helps to create that #LashFame.
